Still a heavyweight today, AMT produced some of the most popular plastic dreams of the '60s and '70s. With licenses for both Star Trek and Star Wars, as well as numerous popular TV hits, they've had some serious heavy hitters. Here are some highlights of their excellent offerings.

The BIGFOOT Kit

One of AMT's better entries into the monster model category was
this cool Bigfoot kit. The large-scale kit came with glow-in-the-dark parts designed to make the pool "shimmer" as shown in the very dramatic box cover photo. "Way cool!"

The GET SMART SUNBEAM Kit

A foolish spy with a really stylin' set of wheels...who'd-a thunk it? Even a ganef as thick as ol' Agent 86 couldn't help but look suave driving this little war wagon, especially with the lovely 99 ridin' shotgun! This kit is a highly accurate rendition of Max's smokin' Sunbeam, right down to the telescoping hood-mounted machine gun. "...and loving it."

The MAN From U.N.C.L.E. Kits

While Aurora had some success with their Illya and Solo figure kits, AMT produced this fine scale model of the car from the TV series, and released it in several forms. A sleek and futuristic design make this a stylish piece even still. “Channel D...Out.”

The MUSTERS' HOT ROD Kits

Who wouldn't love to sit in the rumble seat of the Munster Koach? Or take Grampa's Dragula for speed sprints up and down your neigborhood lane? These terrific kits, released many times, are fun and full-featured units. Still haven't built mine!"DARN, DARN, DARN, DARN!"

The STAR TREK Kits

What more can be said about what is perhaps the most formative Sci-Fi franchise of all time? Cool ships! And AMT got first crack at producing them. Here you'll find their classic first series, and a few other treats that followed.. "Warp speed, Mister Sulu."
